Discuss.

The features:
-Full looting system. If you see an monster/player using it, kill him/her/it and loot it.
-Player buildings, dynamic world. Players build castles, fortesses, cottages, watch towers, rafts, warships, pirate ships and siege engines.
-Complex crafting system. Not a lot of information on this one.
-Oblivion style combat. No levels to grind - skill based combat system. Bows and magic must be manually aimed with a crosshair.

That's all for now :)

Looks cool, but I don't play MMO's simply because they take too much time =/

I'm not too big on MMO's either -- I'll hit up The Old Republic when it comes out, probably Battlefield Online and the Firefly MMO when it comes out in 2075.... Tried Star Wars Galaxies, couldn't really get into it. Tried WoW, didn't do anything for me.... next on the list to try is Huxley, but I don't even think that's in development anymore.

Huxley looked freakin' awesome. I don't know what happened to that. I saw some trailer for it like 9-10 years ago and haven't heard from it since..

That's a bit of an exaggeration there, Sin. However, it is still in developement. It's actually in Closed Beta in Korea, where the studio is based, so it's pretty far along. Still no idea as to when we'll see it, if ever. I still firmly believe a Halo MMO that's similar to Planetside would be perfect for the Xbox, so long as there isn't a major charge, like $15.

As for Darkfall, it looks interesting, and could be quite good if it's executed correctly. Although I don't like the idea of killing players and taking their items, there should be an option or level requirement for that to happen. Having it as defualt would just lead to a lot of complaints. It looks pretty good, and I love the player building (one of my favorite things about SWG). Lets keep updates on this one, okay Panzerg?

No video games as of late have caught my interest. The mmo market is stale, my most recent experience was with WAR, and the game is an EPIC FAIL if you ask me.

PC gaming aside, anyone have any news on anything slightly interesting upcoming for the Xbox?

(Rented and beat Fallout 3 and Fable 2 - looked into Prince of Persia and COD: WAW, but these games don't look interesting :/)

The MMO market has been stale for a long time, don't get me wrong, all of the recent ones have been decent, just nothing exiciting or new. The biggest MMO on most of our radars is Star Wars: The Old Republic, but I think it's no less than a year away, probably more.

Yeah, we'll totally be making TOR part of [iG] if enough of the community makes the commitment. I'm totally down for the old Republic. Can't wait.

I'll look into TOR now that I have a decent computer! Man..this whole having a computer that can run IE without lagging thing is opening so many doors, lol. As a long time WoW player/raider, I can definitely say..don't play it. As much as people might think it isn't possible, it CAN suck the life out of you. Any other MMO is alright though, because most others don't have 4-7 hour raids...
