I knew they were, but I thought it was going to be post launch! I can't wait for Mirror's.... it's unique in a way that no other game comes close.... except perhaps Assassin's Creed, but that was kinda different in it's own ways. I <3 modern free running. |

Yeah, I played along with Vyise, and we we're amazed at how well it played and feeled. I'm glad EA is starting to produce some quality games after all these years. |

Not only is it a new production, but apparently it's a new IP that will span over 3 games. Trilogies are the rave these days.... so yeah. Mirror's is a def. buy for me... no question. Loved the demo, and am still playing it. Freakin' preorder codes are cheating me out of a race though! Which makes me think that online races would be cool. |

Never would have imagined they would make a game out of free running. The demo was cool but not my play style so I won't be getting it. |

Yeah, well. Assassin's Creed sure made an impact on the free running style of gameplay, but the difference between the two is the fact that Altiar (AC) could hold off 25 guards at a time if you were skilled enough. Faith (ME) can hardly hold off two, and running away is what the game seems to be based on; which is something that we're not used to. Most of the time (unless I'm fighting an 18-wheeler sized ant in Fallout 3) gamers will charge in and kill everything with the Spartan code in mind (no surrender, ever) -- Mirror's Edge is all about running away and not getting killed; taking a stand is something that I would figure would happen very VERY infrequently in Mirror's. Can't wait for the game on Nov 13th. |

I tried the demo today and I'm fairly impressed, however, I don't think I'll be getting it now that I have Fable II and Gears 2 around the corner. Definitely a good idea and great execution of the game. Kudos to EA! |

Very slick with the free running but the motion kinda got to me. At least there are plenty of other games out right now and coming up. |

... Anyone try the demo without a reticule and without runner vision (stuff turning red)? A whole different experience. I'm going through the game on hard without runner vision/reticule. Makes the game a little more realistic, I find. Yeah, ME will do some great things for gaming this year. |
