About time people quit being SELFISH! The instruments for Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero: World Tour, and Rock Revolution (eh?) will be cross-compatible on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Edited by SpartanSinister, Aug 19 2008, 09:00 PM.

No, sorry if it came across as that. Currently you can't use the Rock Band guitar on Guitar Hero: 3, even on the same console. You'll be able to do that with RB2 and GH: WT on the same console when they come out, but not cross-console. That'd be pretty cool if it was though. |

Good stuff! RB2 has an edge though -- the release date is almost a full month before GHWT... I'm used to the RB drums, too... but GHWT will have a song creator, and their new Guitar looks amazing! |

They both have their pros and cons. I'm extremely happy about the song creator, that's going to be loads of fun, but so far the GH: WT play list seems a bit..bleh. As for the RB2 play list it looks to best the best yet. I just gotta hope there's better stuff on WT then what they've already announced! |
