We all have personal lives, and though gamers are online to game, there's always a ton of the little inside jokes, pub meets and more that all relate to real life. I found that meeting gamers and be-friending them made the online experience even better. Lets be clear, you do NOT have to post your mugshot if you don't want to. This community's about choice -- if you're not comfortable, no pressure. I'll start us off. My name is Evan, and I'm 18 (19 on Mar. 27th) -- I'm currently living in beautiful Victoria BC where I work full time at Blockbuster Video, and I still live at home. The goal is to go to a gaming school in Vancouver BC where I'll learn the arts and tricks about getting into the gaming industry. I'm Kevin. I live in Southern California, but only temporarily. I'll be moving to Florida in the winter. A little about me: I'm 6'8" which instantly makes me stand out in the crowd. My hobbies include: Rock Climbing, Volleyball and Games of course. I believe I mentioned my favorite games in another post, so I'll just state what I'm looking forward to: Battlefield Bad Company. Recently turned 20, and I'm currently an intern at an engineering firm. I design a lot of aspects of city public works and do the mapping of underground utility for a lot of infrastructure improvement programs. Let's be clear, I hate engineering - I'm currently going to school for a degree in animation and/or programming. Nice to meet you Evan. =) (I may put up a pic at a later date) |

This looks fun, why not? The name is Caleb Baldwin. I'm 15, 5 ft. 5 in., and in the 9th grade. I live in Oklahoma, unfortunately. I moved here from Texas when I was 8. When I'm not on Myspace or Xbox I'm usually at the pool or movies. I try to get out with my friends as much as possible. One of my obsessions is Guitar Hero/Rock Band. I'm Cathy. I'm a new member who signed up after seeing Rocky2000's post in the GamerParents forum. Compared to most of you that have posted in here so far, I'm um ... well, old.  Hopefully you won't hold it against me because I like to think young. I started out with the Atari many years ago and have played off and on ever since. I'm 42 (but if you accidentally wanted to reverse the digits, I'm okay with that) and a mother of 5. My kids range in age from 24 to 6. I'm also a member of GamerchiX and have been trying to get some girls to sign up here because I think it's great what you're trying to start up in here. So, hi everyone.

Name is Cory Eikanas, currently living in Midwest City, Oklahoma. I'm unemployed at the moment, taking a break over the summer. But come August I'll be looking for an IT Tech position. And I too plan to attend the same school as Rocky, been a long time dream of mine to be a game designer. My favorite genre of games are RPG's, more of the Western style though. But I'm quite skilled at nearly all genres, especially FPS' and Racing. Really looking forward to this year's line-up of games! Oh, and here is my mug!

 My name is charles and i live in the great city of Olympia WA. I enjoy God, family, games, and staying fit. If i can help it I'll never have to work a crappy 9 to 5. It's becoming increasingly difficult because rent and games aren't free but i seem to be doing it. The only other option would be to find something that i don't consider to be work but i haven't found that yet so stay tuned... My favorite games are kotor, mass effect, ninja gaiden, gears of war and the soon to be released TFU.If you're doing what you love it can never be considered a wasted life...

I guess I never actually posted in this topic... anywho, my name's Anthony, I'm 21... 22 in a month. Almost as old as Cathy there! She's 24, right? Haha. I like snowboarding a lot, as well as messing with computers. You can see my aquapc in a thread around here or you can click here to see it. I like racing games like PGR 4 or Forza 2, and shooters like Halo and CoD. I've also recently started playing World of Warcraft... big mistake I think. And here's my mug:

Yes, WoW is not a game you want to start playing...it will eat your soul! I used to have two brothers, now I only have half of one. Anyway, if you are ever up for some Forza 2 let me know. I've always loved that game, just not many people play it anymore. |
