But I think most of us are rather burnt on CoD4. Quite a few of us were in the Public Beta (I myself was part of the Closed Beta), and got the game day one and played continuously into the Spring. Now, I'm not vouching for anyone but myself, but I do think others might agree. Plus, I let a friend borrow my copy.

That's because he's addicted to Soul Calibur 4 right now so his mind plays tricks on him. When it says, "Saucey Feet wants to play" he really sees, "You better get the Soul Edge or I'll devour you whole." Oh yea, and Zypher is right. We played the hell out of the Beta.
