Changes will be made, Russian Spam accounts will continue to be banned, and most importantly, you'll be able to win free stuff! Of course, there's an effort involved! Here's the Lowdown: There will be Three Levels of Contests, each varying in effort and commitment: 1. Large Prize Contests - My choice of any(1) Game (usually a contest revolving around a game), 2800 MS Point Cards (if you live in Canada, because of lame region codes!) or accessories such as a wireless controller or a headset. 2. Medium Prize Contests - My choice of a 1400 MS Point Card, Faceplate or Game. 3. Small Prize Contests - My Choice of Bargain Bin Games, Smaller Gaming Accessories or the "(2)Random Vault Prize." (1)Game cannot be any title that retails for more than the average MSRP; ie: Guitar Hero Bundles. (2)Random Vault Prize means that I get to choose the prize for you -- don't worry, I've got good tastes! In order to be eligible for any contest, you must first make 50 quality posts! - However, if you are a member that has previously made 50, you're already qualified! As for the Medium and Large Prize contests, you will have to make a the following amounts unless specified on the contest rules in that one contest thread: -Medium Contest Prize Post Count Requirement: "250 Quality Posts" (unless specified in the contest thread) -Large Contest Prize Post Count Requirement: "600 Quality Posts"(unless specified in the contest thread) Once your reach those post counts you're free to participate in any of the contests that I or a qualified administrator post here on the forums! The contests will range in a wide span of difficulties, and will vary in tasks -- the higher the contest rank (ie: large) the more challenging they will be. Lets get this out of the way: You are more than welcome to participate in any contests, but judging by your prerequisites that are needed to participate in any of the contests, you may be refused entries. Participating in the contests will vary in direct entries (such as literature, or "x-task") or indirect entries, such as a trivia question. Some contests will require "tickets" which will have to be added up to create a single entry; ie: complete tasks "A", "B" and "C" to get 5 tickets; 10 tickets required for entry. I will be posting the first contest in the near future here on the forums or via the podcast which (aims) to air every week. The following is the "fine print" if you will about winning any contest -- regardless of any contest, wheather it's for a piece of paper, or a full fledged game these rules apply to every giveaway on InfinityGaming. Just click on "Spoiler" to view the rules. Spoiler: click to toggle -Contest rules can change without notice from time to time, and any time. It's your responibility to look back here per each contest as they might change. -The winner will receive their prize as soon as possible. Remember, I work full time out of this site -- it will almost always be sent out through airmail to arrive 5-10 days (3 days if in Canada) after the package has been sent out. -Multiple entries are NOT ALLOWED. IP Addresses are tracked on this site, as well as a few other hidden security features. We will know if you create another account and enter. One entry per person. -In the case that there is a winner, he or she must provide Rocky2000 a mailing address for the permanent residence. InfinityGaming will never ask you for your phone number, credit card or any other form of private information. -InfintiyGaming will not be responsible for any damages to the item(s) sent, or if the package becomes lost. -In the case that the software (if that's the prize) is defective, I will provide a receipt with most packages that you can return to your local retailer. -InfinityGaming, though open to any gamer, adere's to the ESRB. Though frankly retarded, I will not warrant anyone a game that does not fit the age group of that rating. In other words, if you're 18 or older, you able to win any prize. If you're a younger lad then any "M" rated games are unfortunately not able to be won by you. -In the case of a large hardware give away (ie: console, Rockband, or other big item), it's possible that a voucher or giftcard encrypted to a single item will be sent for you to pick up at your local retailer to reduce shipping costs. -In the case that there is a tournament with a prize to the "winning team", it will be decided through the winning team who will get the prize (if it's a single prize); other wise, if multiple prizes are given out, each player on the winning team will be awarded the same item unless written other wise.
