"Smell Good While You Play!
Ahhh the sweet smell of gaming...Errr what?

I have no press release to share with you at this moment but how about a "release" of lavender, rose or jasmine eminating from your USB port? That's right, Engadget picked up on these olfactory sensory neuron treats.

Have you noticed a "not too pleasant" aroma coming from your room from lack of showering, old pizza slices under the bed, perhaps some socks that you forgot to put in the washing machine? NO PROBLEM! Just stick one of these cool little gadgets in an unused Xbox 360 USB port and fake like you're the epitome of cleanliness."

That's from the Gamerscore blog. What do you think of this idea? I think it's a little cheesy, but it might be somebody's dream! I for one am a "clean-freak"; all my games are in alphabetical order, and everything is more or less, "spick and span."

What about you guys? What is your gaming environment like? Would you consider getting one of these "Smell-USB's"?

Oh wait - yeah, I've seen these nifty items before... Yes, I have - only they were called... GLADE PLUG INS.

Talk about corny. <_<

I was just thinking about those Glade Plugins too, that usb idea seems seems retarded and a waste of a usb port.

I think it is a great idea. You can spend less time cleaning, more time gaming, and your room won't smell!

P.S. If they do actually make these, birthdays will be easy! :P

Yea, I'm a clean freak, too. It's really hard for me to play in a room that is dirty. I'll be sitting there playing and in my peripheral (did I spell that right?) vision be focused on the non-cleanliness. Anyways, I think it's a stupid idea. For one, I don't know if it has been tested well enough to know if somehow it can cause hardware problems. Maybe not likely, but I'll take my chances with Glage Plugins.

You know, if you're reeking up a room, whether by body odor or old food, a fragrance isn't the answer. Get some general hygene.
