The Great Escape confirmed today, that they are getting a new THRILLING flat ride for 2014 named "Extreme Supernova". This ride will be located next to the Comet.

It will be located what they refer to as the "green space" in front of The Comet...aka where Flying Trapeze was supposed to go years ago. The ride is incredibly compact and there will be a lot of room for a queue and even leaving some of the green space. Having the electrical already there makes installing it a lot easier.

I was on something similar to this last night at the fair. It's a lot of fun. The one at the fair everybody faces inward toward the center. I believe on this one you face toward the outside.

finally we get a thrill ride. long over due!!! hopefully there are 4 or 5 more on the way. like an air jumper or some thing else that goes upside down would be great!!!

Well seeing as there is only 3 or 4 in existence and they were all installed within the past 3 or 4 years, I'd say new.

glad all we have to talk about is sarcasm... do we not have anything else, no one knows of any other changes? I mean this year GE central got scooped by TGE its self for everything, even the super nova

Extreme Supernova is used and came from Coney Island. It is a replacement for the Pirate Ship.
