if i was running the park would take out bobsled and but a new b&m or something lke like the dark night at sfne but i am not and that wont happen so yea i am happy with any type of coaster as long as it is better then cb

Problem is at their attendance they could not flip the 14 million bill fora batman sized floorless. I'd love to see a B&M coaster but Doubt we will see one unless it's relocated from another park.
I know that we will probally never see it but correct me if i am wrong but when they put batman at sfne in 2002 i bet that sfne attendence wasnt much diffrent then tge's is now.
SFNE's attendance was twice what TGE's is now. 2001-2004, 2005 was flat, and it was down hill from there. Steeper prices and pore customer survive in previous years drove guests to other parks.

Rumor has it in Six Flags land that we are getting an S&S El Loco for 2013...so most likely, no big coasters in the next 5 years... Most likely none in the next 5 years besides next years possible coaster lol.

Well I don't trust most rumors. I can trust TGE's trends and a major addition in 2012 makes a coaster in 2013 very unlikely.

It has already been "confirmed" we are getting a new non-water ride, so we will see!

Oh and the trend isnt always on track... We got Tornado in 2007, Mega Wedgie in 2008, and Sasquatch in 2009... So never say never..

i think that we will get some kind of flat in 2013 and get a small coaster like a el loco or a eurofighter for 2014 for the parks 60th anniversery and the 20th year the comet has been at the park

i think it will follow somewhat of the same pattern of 2007-2009 a big atteriction in 2012 a smaller one in 2013 and a big addition for 2014 i think it would work good for advertising in 2014 a new coaster and the parks anniversery

Well they added canyon blaster in 2003...and their 50th anniversary wasnt until 2004 so they were a year early... And we got nothing for 2004

I don't know why everyone seems to be bashing El Locos. Yes they're smaller and compact but they have unique elements and an exciting layout. One would definitely attract some sort of a crowd. Do I think it should go where Steamin Demon is? No, I agree that it wouldn't look right there and wouldn't have the same visual appearance, but I do think it could fit where the Nightmare building is, or if they were to build it where Alpine Bobsled is, it could open up a lot of space for another future attraction. Hell I'm sure if they wanted to they could put it where Kidzopolis is or even where the Go-Karts are, it's that compact. But I would be perfectly content with an El Loco, or a Eurofighter, if it came to that. I know better than to expect a huge new roller coaster.

Im not bashing an El Loco... Im just saying you have to find the right spot for it... The first thought that came to my mind was the Go-Kart area myself... But if it ends up being a euro fighter then who the hell knows where it would go. Nightmare spot would also work for a euro fighter or el loco... They already have a queue they could use if they put it in nightmares spot...

True but look at the additions. The Tornado was the only large scale addition. Mega Wedge is about a half million installed(on par with a flat) and Sasquatch was relocated and required very little rehab. So a smaller addition.

It's not that the El Loco is a terrible coaster and yes there are a few places it could go. but the nightmare spot is was too bit to replace it with such a small coaster. Personally I would remove chipper and relocate the bumper cars. place it there.

But the park is lacking coasters with wow factor. While the vertical + drop woudl be only the 3rd of it's type in the north east and the steepest, I think the El Loco may be a bit too cheap trick to add substance to the park. They park already has that in Demon, canyon blaster, boomerang. The kiddie coaster simply sucks.

If they were to get a Euro fighter and build a custom layout they have an opportunity to give people something with wow factor. and if designed right they could open up some space for the water park behind it.

Mrceagle good points... I would much rather see a Euro-fighter than an El Loco... Id rather wait 1 or 2 years for a Euro Fighter than get an El Loco next year if thats the plan...i feel like If we got a Euro Fighter along with 1 or 2 good flats over the next year or two, or maybe three, we could in theory attract an additional 25,000-50,000 visitors, and then maybe a few days down the road, look at a larger scale coaster for the park.

i would go without any new rides for 2 or 3 years if we got a eurofigther but i personally dont want a el loco. i think before you take out any atteriction for expansionn of the water park you should take out go karts and move pirate ship to somewhere else in the park

Pirate is very easy to move as it is not a park model... It has already been moved once in its lifetime: it used to be where bobsled is in that area until it was moved to its current spot when bobsled was added.
Id rather see Bobsled stay in the park, Remove Go-Karts, Relocate Pirate, and add a water park expansion there. Put a Future coaster somewhere elese.

Think is you will not raw a lot more people unless you add something notable. They are already getting the locals and the tourists. they would need something worth driving to to get attendance to really climb.

Thing is The park dose not need 8 coasters. TGE is not that big of a park and is a bit over saturated with coasters as is. Problem is the coasters they have are not that good.

I have no problem seeing the go carts go. Though I'm not sure what sort of use it gets. I never liked the pirate ship were it is so relocating it wouldn't be a big deal in my mind.

While Bobsled is one of the better coaster and one of the only worth bragging about it regrettably has more down sides then positive. No mater what the park needs a coaster that can operate form open to close.

They wouldnt have 8 coasters anyway. If you keep all existing coasters, it will be 7... If you remove one and add one, it will be 6 still. You got to remember they had 7 at one point... I agree its too many, but when your coasters suck, you have to make up for it somehow. Id rather have 3/4 amazing coasters than 5 or 6 shitty ones. Comet and Bobsled are the main "guest drawing" coasters anyways. Id rather see Canyon Blaster go before Bobsled.
