I thin your focusing on the war aspect to the era. and while it says ww2 the names offered are more about Aviation in that era then anything else.

I was sent the survey so I could look at it. A few things came to mind. a family inverted coaster being the most unlikely. There are a handful of plan themed flats that could hold the name and theme.

Part of me also thought about a retheme of Kidzopilis to something more unique to TGE.
my bad i read this wrong

No I suggested it. Thing is I was assuming the tea cups would go or get relocated. and the car ride woudl become jeeps. no real themeing there.

Which leaves what is figuratively the star attraction of the area the big red planes.

Mrceagle, my response wasnt directed at you. But i was just searching around for a few flats that i like and stuff, and i happened to stumble upon Aviator at Wild Adventures in Georgia. Aviator is a Chance Aviator ride, and personally, i think it would be a great fit to TGE. Heres the link to it... http://www.chancerides.com/rides/aviator.html The one at Wild Adventures has a 42'' height restriction, so if TGE ever did get one, they could in theory put it as a family or a thrill attraction. AND they could theme it to their little WWII obsession.

That is what I was thinking. Fort George or something. give it a tie in to the local area.

Elitch Gardens also has one and it dose reasonably well. They do look fun. It was one of the single rides I had thought about for the names given.

Id rather see the Trapeze updated with a Wave Swinger. And remember, if they ever wanted to use Trapeze's pad for another ride, they wouldnt necessarily have to remove Trapeze...they could always move it back in front of the Comet like they were planning to do a while back. They still have the electrical for the ride set up back there so that spot is always still an option.

Oh and just a quick update: Boomerang is still closed after being down for a week or so now, Black Cobra is closed today, and surprisingly, the Lazy River is also not operating today.

They really need boomerang to be open there just isnt enough coasters in the park for it to be closed.

I think the trapeze spot woudl be a god location for the aviator. I would prefer to see a real flying swing attraction in front of comet.

Boomerang has been up and down all season, ive seen it valleyed too. It has only operated for one of my five visits this season.

I also would like to see something along the lines of and aviator or a shorter sky screamer type of ride built at the park, but they are definitely due to get a new rollercoaster of any thrill level. 2003 was the last time they built a roller coaster that everyone could ride. Thats 10 years, far too long.
