Behind the water fortress would put it directly in front of the comet, whereas the go carts would be on the comet side

There is a huge area around the play fortress before the walkways to comet. all they need to do is clear the trees. While I would have liked to see an addition for the park at least this addition isn't causing the removal of another dry park attraction. It's also nice that it is somewhat unique as apposed to the Tornado.

The slide will be built by Proslide. I'm working on getting an image of the slide I can share.

as for the concert it will not be exclusive, Funtown Splashtown in ME will be adding a White Water West tower with a nearly identical setup.

Surprised they aren't adding a flat ride with this for a wet/dry thing, unless they bring the Trabant back, when and why did they get rid of that?

It wasn't there when the park opened this season if Im correct, and the park said it was due to old age I believe.

You indeed are correct. They don't even make wipeouts (trabants) anymore the way our trabant was made. The newer style of the ride operates differently than the ones like we had.

It would have been nice to see a flat as well. but at least the park isn't being overlooked like in years past.

Maybe they'll surprise us with something... Lol jk. Although they never told us trabant was leaving so I wouldn't mind a surprise :D

A surprise would be nice but unlikely. hopefully the live show line up will make up for the lack of dry park attractions.

yeah, hopefully they try harder on entertainment for next year...or sooner yet with fright fest! I really hate Mr 6 dance party's new format, they don't ask for flags and they have a couple new songs...

While I'm sad the trabant is gone, I'm happy they turned the base into an eating area. It looks neat there and it kind of honors the old ride in a way. It'd be sadder to see the entire thing gone. I loved that ride, though.

Im not saying it doesnt look nice, but why not do a few upgrades and put a newer chance wipeout there? They already have the platform and lighting, they would just need to do a little mechanical work. You also have eating tables in the alpine haus and outside on the side of the alpine haus too so it wouldnt make that mun of a difference.

^ I think the actual ride part of Wipeouts might be a bit bigger than the Trabant. It has more rows and each row is wider, so I'm not sure if would fit. They also move a bit different than Trabants... A Wipeout would be good for the park though.
