as stupid as this sounds, would a eurofighter fit in the middle of despo if the nightmare building was ever taken down? |

It could easily be made to, they're pretty versatile and can be very compact or designed for a uniquge space.. look at the one in mall of america for example |

Well if it's a custom design there is nothing stopping it from fitting there. I don't know that a clone of Dare Devil Dive from SFOG could fit in the space though, and we all know how much Six Flags hates doing custom coaster designs.... |

What do you mean "even if"?^ Are you implying there's something wrong with the Euro-fighter at Canobie? |

A euro fighter would fit in that area easy. In fact I think the 320, like Canobie Lake Park got, would fit in the building. It's an extremely compact coaster. and up there in thrill and poser as most of SFNE's largest coasters. |

would the nightmare building be big enough to house a eurofighter height wise? |

I don't think it would fit height wise. A euro fighter is usually much taller than nightmare was. But it would probably fit depth wise, and possibly width wise too. Really a custom coaster would fit better though because of the helix at the end of a 320 model. |

The 320 would most likely fit. Though custom layout would provide a more unique attraction as well as providing better use of the overall building. The 320 is 73ft tall but sits a bit off the ground. I think the nightmare building is around 50-60ft. so they would need a box to fit it. Keep in mind that Rock bottom plunge at the mall of America is only 67ft. |

I was just on the plunge Sunday and they had all the doors open to the Nightmare building. It looks like maintance has nicely taken it over. I highly doubt the building will be taken down or have a ride in it again. It a real shame Edited by srdstang, Jun 28 2011, 02:49 PM.

From what I have heard there has always been storage and some maintenance in the building. the coaster only took up a small part of it. |

If my memory serves me correctly, when I once rode Nightmare with the doors open, the ride actually took up a majority of the building. I don't know if there would have been room for maintenance or storage. |
