Here are the Kidzopilis rides I could get pictures of at media day. chances are TGE will see similar colors when the rethemeing takes place.

ya there was not much thought or work put into it. even worse is the Rockn tug/fethersword's Rockn pirate ship. they removed all the ship themed pieces that made the ride any thing unique.

this has nothing to do with kidzopolis but timbertown. on the great escapes facebook page, you can now see the logo of timbertown. they have also added a picture of all the new characters coming to the park.
here is a link for the new characters: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=10150176445751806&set=pu.51613191805&type=1&theater
and click here for the timbertown logo: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=10150174005176806&set=pu.51613191805&type=1&theater

bizarre characters. I see how they fit into TGE better then the loony tunes. In the sense their cheap and poorly thought out.

now, if i was the owner of the park, id get rid of timbertown and kidzopolis, sell all the rides, and get a few flats for the park :)

The rides are good, I mean they are there lets not get rid of what we have. How about you take the wiggles stage and move it to the jungle theater, then using the land around the old petting zoo to make timbertown 1 large attraction. Then you have all that room where wiggles was. Next get rid of the bobsled, and now you have a huge space for almost anything, even maybe a few water rides to connect splashwater.

Splashwater dose need to be expanded. though it's in such a crappy location between the park and comet. Condensing the kiddie lands could be a good idea. but the Plans and the Tea cups are the only rides I would move. Why use space for the car ride when you have the 50's cars. Though maybe the cars could be used for a dark ride attraction.

I guess the characters make sense but I think they have a few too many.

The 50's cars are way different when you really think about it. The wiggles cars are higher capacity and more efficent over all. I would love to see the back side near the ferris wheel developed more.that would leave splash water wide open if you take out the path. Pirate ship and go carts would have to move or go. Id trade the pirate for a large frisbe. And could give or take the carts as they are more like the 50's cars. And for my final ramble I would like to see the picnic grove moved out past the demon in the overflow parking. Imagine a huge stage too and all that free space.

i think a good spot for the picnic grove would be up where the GT train used to go like you said. perfect area in my opinion.... i dont think things should be moved. i just think we need to expand, and i know that people are gonna disagree but there is always a constant need to expand somewhere and somehow.

you really think the layout of the park can continue and still expand? I really dislike how the prk feels so spread out and it takes forever to go from GT to Splash.

I would consider this a fairly compact park, considering parks like SFA have about the same number of rides, (although a few more coasters) and it takes 2 to 3 times as long to get from SFA's waterpark to the back of the park as it does to go from Ghost Town to Splashwater kingdom at TGE. TGE just has a poor layout.

The Wiggles Cars are only higher capacity because they offer 3-4 seats and the track is about a 10th the length. But regardless, they don't need 2 self powered car rides in one park. especially one that is short on space.

The area behind the Ferris wheel should be developed more. it's extremely under utilized and there is a lot of midway lost because outside of the picnics there is no one really using them. There was no real thought put into Splashwater. Using that back area for water park wouldn't be out of line but couldn't work well unless they wanted to pay to revere the wave pool. Dose that thing ever fill up?

Why not have both the pirate sip and a Spinning pendulum ride, My home park operates both and they both get lines. A huge stage would be a waist. they would never get a concert series to pas the planing board. they get enough complaints about noise as is.

i agree, very poor layout, and i think at this point, there is not a lot of need to expand, and we have a lot of dead space along the way in the park because like you guys said, everything is so spread out, but i think that at some point, they are gonna face the fact that there will be no more room and they will be forced to expand some day but i dont think relatively soon.

yeah the next 10 yrs won't be kind to TGE IMO, but concerts would be the cheaper way to boost attendance. Higher attendance equals more capital expenditures, and heck spac does very well, why wouldn't TGE work also?
