Fright Fest Info is Here! All info from The Great Escapes Fright Fest Page. http://frightfest.sixflags.com/greatescape/attractions/

Fearful Frights:

Malice in Wonderland: Visit the world were Malice fell from the seemingly bottomless hole in the Great Escape lot so many years ago. But be warned – years of torment under evil dictators have rendered this land uninhabitable. Traverse your way though monsters and ghouls all looking to keep you in Wonderland forever.

Skull Manor ($9): Skull Manor was just about to receive historical site status as the final word in old colony estates until a grizzly murder forced the house into condemnation. Experience the infamous mansion first-hand but beware of hair-raising terror around every corner.

Witch Hanging: The Lake George Witch trials have over a century’s worth of history in the state of New York. Dare to revisit the colonial times of the town where women were arbitrarily accused of witchcraft and subsequently burned alive at the stake.

Measuring Mortician: A former Mortician has set up shop at The Great Escape. Enjoy a free consultation if you dare but just be warned – he’s fitting you for your coffin. How do you measure up?

Monstertainment:

Dead Man's Party: Join the haunted party with zombie performers, hit songs and red-hot choreography starring the murderous Dr. Fright. The most wicked dance in the Northeast is only recommended for the strong of heart.

The Awakening: On Halloween, a funeral procession takes a life of its own. No longer is this a somber affair of family grieving. It’s a parade. Every October at The Awakening you can watch the resurrection of Dr. Fright before your very eyes.

Reunion of Souls: Rock the Dead: This dance party had been a Halloween tradition for thousands of years bringing the most morbid and macabre characters together to shun the “normals.” Enjoy its long awaited return after a horrible incident took place a few years back.

Spine-Chilling Adventures:

Alpine Bobsled Terror: The greatest scientific minds in the Lake George region have gone mad trying to understand the deadly and befuddling mystery hidden deep within one of the most scariest and brain melting drop towers in the world.

Giant Wheel Insect Infection: The Giant Wheel has become home to millions of man-eating insects who have a particular craving for young flesh. Young skin – once smooth – bubbles, crusts and erupts with sores that itch, ooze, and contaminate.

Lost Soul of Sasquatch: Sasquatch may be one of the most celebrated drop towers in the world, but it is also the premier residence in the park for angry, disillusioned spirits whose only joy in death is tormenting riders in the most painful ways imaginable.

The Demon Witch: Beneath Steamin’ Demon lies the remains of a witch who destroyed a thriving town and left a terrible curse for anyone who dares to set foot on the property.

The Comet Toxic Safari: A secret toxic dump right behind The Comet is producing animals that crave human flesh. Rare. A bowl of shiny eyeballs to pop in their throats, like olives. Soup made from the blood and fluids of thrill-seekers.

Blizzard Rodent Attack: A failed park lab experiment has resulted in thousands of cuddly white rats developing an insatiable taste for human flesh (especially teens).

Bumper Car Mind Melt: Leeches such your blood. Snakes lick your eyes. And bats will fight each other for an unpunctured bit of your flesh.

The Orcs of Canyon Blaster: There is a nest of Orc chefs living beneath Canyon Blaster. The delectable culinary creations they create from for our park guests make for fine eating.

Condor Cthulhu Surprise: There is a nest of Orc chefs living beneath Canyon Blaster. The delectable culinary creations they create from for our park guests make for fine eating.

Flying Trapese Zombie Invasion: Beneath Flying Trapeze rests an ancient zombie burial ground. Inert until recently, the thousand year old zombies seek to expand their ranks while enjoying a feast of young brains.

Pirate Ship Siren Song: It may seem like the safest place at the park, but it isn’t. The Pirate Ship is the home of the Sirens, beautiful, captivating creatures who quickly and painfully suck your brains out.

Other Info:

Visit the Trick or Treat Trail, get turned around in the all-new kiddie hay maze, decorate your own pumpkin or take home the top prize in our daily costume and scream contests. *Trick or Treat Trail is open from 12-5PM for children 12 and under FREE of charge.

Sounds like it might be slightly better this year...but I guess I have a few questions.

This doesn't seem to explain enough about exactly what "Malice In Wonderland" is. Is this a new haunted walk-through, maybe somewhere over by the castle? Then, Skull Manor and Witch Hanging are obvious repeats from previous seasons...this measure-your-coffin experience sounds like about 30 seconds of interesting.

The shows sound repetitive and corny as usual, and I've never cared to watch any of Great Escape's awful "entertainment" shows.

Now, the one thing that's just an obvious error and I don't really get. First off, they call Alpine Bobsled a "drop tower", when it is clearly not. Second, are they going to add some Fright Fest theming to the attractions, or are they just advertising the attractions with Fright Fest names? I mean, I know sometimes they'll put some cobwebs up on the railings surrounding Comet, but I don't think that really justifies "theme" for the attraction, nor does it add to the experience in any way.

I don't know.

sounds like TGE is just making things sound better then they are.Honestly I can only imagine that they might have creative displays around the rides. Also when the park gets interesting, it is usually dark, so bobsled wont be running.

Nice to see TGE has dead Mans Party, it's an amazing show.

Malice in wonderland is the Alice walk with fog and lights nothing amazing. but at least it's something extra. and not up-charge.

I find 9 dollars for the haunt way too much.

Wasen't only $5 P.P. a couple years ago. Didnt go last year to the haunted house so Im not sure of last years price. I dont see why they charge extra to do these things! I didnt think $5 was worth it two years ago.

I also noticed on the website that Fight Fest doesent start untill October 8th???? I always thought it started the first weekend in Oct. Im pretty sure the season pass book has a bring a friend free to opening weekend and it says Oct 1st and 2nd???????

Possibly because it implied that rides were only open during the day
