The Great Escapes website has posted on there events page that fright fest this year will run from 10/8 - 10/30. Any thoughts on this or stuff you would like to see this year?

i would like to see a better dead man show. Great spot in splash theater, but they should run with it and go bigger! Last year was the first year I went a couple of times and got bored really quickly. I felt liek I saw it all before.

Same and I would rethink the "haunted" attraction they did in Alice in Wonderland, all it was was a bunch of colored lights and a few spiderwebs. It kinda irked me that they said it wasn't for children under 12, semmed like a perfect thing for kids though.

I think they need more haunts
and they should not charge extra for the main house. They have no water park and still charge full price. offer seasonal specials. Spices cider is cheap to make an could make up for not charging for the haunted house.

The jungle land haunt would be great for a walk though thriller to enter the haunted house. If I could get the crap scared out of me while I wait id be happy. I know the train tracks would be in the way, but it is the thought that counts. On the other hand, the train could be a one way ride to either the haunted house or jungle land, like a pretend break down. costumed dead people could escort you to safety. thoughts.

realisticly, there is no way that you could really get from the train to the jungleland walkthrough without building a walkway from the sides of the tracks. and you get somewhat screwed over because the tracks going to and from and so close to each other.

Jungle land satalite view

You can see how jungle land goes back and kinda how the train loop goes out and back towards jungle land. the haunted house and jungle land are all very close.

I feel like back when Six Flags as a company was at it's worse is when Frighrt fest was at it's best. There was more than just that one haunted house, if Iremember correctly there was like 2 in ghost town and a show as well. That one show where the chick like turned into a monster or something like that was fun.. The park definitely did have a "we have severe money/management issues" atmosphere around that time (like 2003-2006/7) but still.. fright fest was way better then

I believe if you click the words satellite view, you should see a over view of jungle land with the canyon blaster to the bottom left. seems to me to be allot of land, and potential.

oh sorry i didnt realize you could click but moston does have a point........if the train stops up in its back loop, it could be a shuttle from the haunted house in SPK and a haunted house in jungle land and then bring everyone back to storytown....... the only problem they would encounter is that they would need to install some sort of lighting back there for nighttime because it is pitch black back there come night time and i would think that the lines for the train would get a little hectic if people were coming from both haunted houses, and that train does not complete that loop very quickly. but it would be doable with a few adjustments and a little thinking.

Fright fest was at it's best when it was the old management. they over spent yes and overly favored other parks but they did do a lot entertainment wise. The morph show was Zathora, girl of the jungle it was relocated form SFNE. As for having more then one haunt as far as I know they have only ever had the one haunted house. but at least it was free.
