Look on the bright side. At least you are not getting reports of a ride being removed like LA Ronda. they are loosing their Top Spin.

SFAm did just announce a new themed slide tower. though some reports say it might be a rehab of an existing tower.

in passing the park yesterday.. absolutely no activity in the park whatsoever. As a matter of fact, there is quite a bit of snow that hasn't melted yet on the ground in the park.

which would most likely mean LTNP or wiggles world hasnt been touched..... will they be ready by opening day with the snow not melted yet?

I am not in any circles, but I heard they pulled those rides when the park closed to change them over. That makes sense, but IDK how they re theme parks and rides.

^Makes sense to me if that is what happened. Seems like the logical thing to do.

The rides are not really getting rethemed. The themeing elements like fiberglass figures, and decals, etc will be removed. a few rides like the cars will get new paint. the repainting can be done in the pant shop.

That will all depend on the ability of the paint crew at the park.

from other parks the big red plains will look is will see decals and 2D mock up on the globe. Big red Cars will get new paint and the decals removed, Your see the fountain removed most likely. I think the Henry mock up and the rock face are one piece.

not sure what theiming the tea cups had.

The fountain was nice, my kids enjoyed a quick splash. What about the fountain in LTNP?
hopefully we will see some photo's before opening day. Also what ever amounted for the petting zoo space? Forgotten plans?

but what i was saying is, removing fiberglass and decals and stuff and repainting isnt a 1 week job. well knowing TGE they will prolly blow it off and make it a 1 week job. even though i am not a kid, i always enjoyed a splash in LTNP or WW fountains on a hot day.
in other words. i STILL do not understand why tge keeps insisting on putting in new children rides or kiddie sections. it honestly beguiles .honestly. and on that note, i heard that the original plan was to add a small ride where petting zoo was for 2011 but the plans eventually were "lost-in-time" im not sure what the dimensions for that area are, but it is pretty small. and you cant go back that far without hitting the hill going down to raging river (at least i think thats whats at the bottom of that hill)

would that ride they took from the Canadian park fit there? Its the same one as SFNE, right? There is plenty of space in front of the old zoo that the walkway wouldn't be narrowed too much.

If I am not mistaken, they can go back a little, because it goes to the backstage area, and even if it is on a hill, a small retaining wall or a large concrete wall is all that they would need to hold everything up correctly, and I think La Rondes' Top Spin is bigger than SFNE's because it is a park model, while SFNE's is a trailer model, but, again, I may not be correct.

behind the zoo is the access road for trucks to deliver backstage. Canyon blaster and the shops are closer to jungle land.
