New Whalom is a new attraction under development. The basic goal is to develop a museum and attach to that a family attraction based on that that Whalom operated on. Family sized, Focused and priced. The group is looking to develop a small scale/FEC style park with both indoor ( year round) and outdoor entertainment. The project in in the developmental stage, Designs, Acquiring further Museum artifacts, and fund raising. The original goal was to use the original property but that was lost last year when the city sought out a new buyer to build condos. The refocus has set the group back and required further fundraising. |

The original Whalom park was located in Lunenburg, MA(north Central Mass). The new attraction will be located as close to the original property as possible. There are 3 location being considered at this time. |

It's Progressing steadily. One main goal right now is to raise 20,000 for the Feasibility and a few other paperwork items. That is being accomplished through donations and an Event series. You can watch the progress though their web site: newwhalom.com |

The Timber town likely won't be anything major. exactly the same ride, colors, just with the characters removed. In SFFT for Kidsopolis, all the sides got repainted and the logos were removed. I don't live up there so not sure how the weather is cooperating to allow for work to get started. |

I'd imagine the aesthetic stuff shouldn't take too long, so they might not even be started with any of that work yet, but maybe they have removed the signs and other stuff at this point. |

Yea, there is some activity. Pre-Season just started and the park is working on orientations now. I don't believe any of the rides are up yet. |

If TGE is anything like the parks around here many rides are not taken a part. they get covered and wrapped in plastic. It's just a mater of removing that stuff and turning the power on. |

i know a lot of the bigger flat rides stay together but i know rides like cannonball express, blizzard, yo-yo, ferris wheel gondolas etc... they are taken apart and stored for the winter. its a liability thing. and safety thing so they arent a problem for the "on" season. |
