2011 season passes are now on sale at the great esacpe. a single season pass is $79.99. they also have a promotion that if you buy a season pass four pack at $69.99 each, you get season parking for free (offer expires on halloween & passes must be processed). i am going to the park tomorrow to see if you can upgrade your one day admission to next years pass. i find 79.99 for a pass to tge is a ripoff...unless we get a new unique ride/coaster. you can click here to learn more about next years pass: http://www.sixflags.com/greatescape/tickets/seasonpass.aspx |

Yeah I get my season pass through SFA since they are so much cheaper, I got one there before and I just keep renewing it. |

do what I do, purchase it when you visit another SF park (if they offer a cheaper pass), and like sixflagsman said, just renew it. |

Great Escape will always be a good option for me even if its 79.99$... The one at La Ronde is around 85$ and the parking sticker is 75$. |

Got mine and my GF's for $30 each last year during Holiday in the Park. Went twice and used our Bring a Friend for $9.95 and then upgraded with the $19.95 special they had going on. Got two passes and the parking pass for $95 :P Hope to do it during Fright Fest this year, if they have the discount again. I think it was $29.95 to upgrade last Fright Fest. |

when i was there yesterday, you could upgrade your paid admission to a 2011 season pass for 34.99 + tax. ------------- in other news: - splashwater kingdom hours now 12-5 - waterslides seemed to be going faster than normal - both black cobra slides open - new flags on top of comets first hill and on end turns |

the great escape is such a joke. my idea would be (and this is just a thought) that they should close the entire park and sell the land and move the park to a bigger and better place and retheme everything, make the pathways wider everywhere, make the path design more tolerable, REBRAND the park, use all the same rides, and get a few more bigger and better rides. thats just my idea of what they should do........psh yeah right...at the rate their going at, well be lucky to see a new tree plated in the park. |

actually they did pant little fruit trees that are in that little space by the comet. anyways, i have now found out that a 2011 season parking pass is only vaild at the park you buy it from unlike the past few years when it would work at every park. |

about the tree wasnt meant to be taken literally...but anyway i think thats dumb about the parking pass. i visit sfne every year once or twice and now i may not do that anymore because i am not going to spend extra money to park. even if it is only 10 or 20 dollars, thats 10 or 20 dollars that i dont have in my pocket for inside the park. |

la ronde, and magic mountain now have released their season pass prices. SFMM: 54.00-125.00 now la ronde does somthing a little interresting. they have different season passes depending on your height or age and prices would increase $10 as the year goes on. season pass (54"+) 54.99 season pass (-54") 32.50 season pass (60+) 32.50 |

I have been hearing this a lot. One reason why when I had a season pass I visited TGE so much was that it at the time had free parking. made the 3 hours of traveling more worth the costs associated with it. I do think this is going to hurt them more then it helps. |
