I just recently visited some friends of mine at TGE, and I went into the "boneyard" to take exclusive photos that you won't see anywhere else. The GP can't go into these areas, nor can these areas be seen from Rt 9. Pretty good photos for a guy that has no ties with the park, huh? lol

Thanks. I will probably head back up there in about a week or so, and grab some shots of The Skylab and some other various photos.

Very, very cool. It's interesting to see the stuff that has mad it's way in to the junkyard over the years. It certainly answers the question why there are so few rafts on the Raging River, too! More than anything, though, I really want to rescue the Skee-Ball machines! =)

Thanks for sharing!

Very good pictures indeed. It is really sad to see alot of that stuff there. I know they still use the halloween stuff though, just doesn't look like the best place to store it. I would love to rescue one of the old comet cars from one of its old trains, fix it up and have an awesome piece for my rec room in the garage.

Wow... I completely forgot about the dragon train. That was my favorite ride when I was a kid! I also remember the mouse train, it was right in front of Chipper's Magical Mystery Ride. I would ride that thing while my parents would go on Chipper's. Ahh... sweet memories.

I don't remember the carriage looking things though. Anyone have any idea what they are? What I'm talking about is in the photo 13 up from the bottom. And when was there a blue rollercoaster (12 up from bottom)?

Yeah any pictures of things that are behind the scenes and never seen by the general public would be great to look at. I love the old things that remain in the park but hidden away regardless of the there condition. Thanks again nyguy.

Why did they put the balloon race sign in there since it's still running, and all those rapids boats?

I was wondring the same thing about those cars, looks like really old chair lift cars or somthing

As for the blue support beams, I thought it could have been skylab frames.

Sean, the only thing that can be seen from the train is the 99 trains, and some of the raging river boats. The rest is all in the 2 boneyards that is no where near any public view.

In one of the pictures you can see my side view mirror, I had to enter my pin code at the gate, and physically drive back there to get these shots.
