Great Escapes Future; Whats next for GE?

mrceagle, I think you made a mistake when you said that the park says nothing will be done with the SLC. The GM told the Queensbury town board that they likely will not use Tidal Wave, but they intend to install the SLC, and it will likely be installed for the 2008 season. He told the board that TGE would be coming back to the board with details once the electric and other upgrades (which they have already done) were completed. With that in mind, I fully expect to see the SLC next season.

Sorry I do believe your right. they did say something like that. thanks for the correction. I personally would still prefer the Batman clone.

There are things I would be happier seeing in the park than the SLC, but any new ride is a good thing.

Going bck to what Scooby said...."what do we think GE should do next?"

I think by recreating the original storytown would be fantastic! If some how all the story town things were regrouped i think people would love it. What do you guys think?

I know you think it wont happen.....i dont think it will either, but if it were, what would you guys think?

While I like the idea. i don't see it haponing. I doubt they have most of what they took out. and i don't see them Spending money on adding themeing or replacing themeing on a theme that lacks marketing potential.

the wiggles honestly was a big waste of money they put all that money into it for only 3 rides i mean timbertown has a decent amount of rides in a small area. And what i meant by a expanision was like a coaster if you read the comments before this it was all rumors that tge will get big rides tge hasnt got anything big i mean sasquatch is a good ride but i dont consider it a expansion. all the rides they have added are in the existing park they havenot added any new space

Why would you spend the money to make the park larger when you dont have to.....there is plenty of valuable spaces already in the park.. Ex. Nightmare building, 180 dome, chippers dome, something small in front of the comet, bobsled's area if you remove bobsled....

There is no need to expand at this time. Like you pointed out there are many spots that need filling before they invest in new infrastructure to cover an expansion.

Unless they wanted to make new themed area. but because Alpine Free fall is blocking off the walkway near comet the easiest place for a new area is now cup off in one direction and would be a dead end.

While I would love it that's a huge investment for a park that gets the capacity they do. I could see a Euro fighter or another wood coasters.
