Habitual Offender
|
Session 1 came and went with a lot of fan fare, the characters are looking for one of their numbers missing sister, seemingly taken during a slaver's gathering. This session included pirates, and samurai battles. A sea voyage, and a confrontation with a elven naval ship. Session 2: on the road, hints of trouble in various places. Romantic interests are evolving between Aistlyn Trey (NPC), and Merith Hawkthorne (PC). While trying to trade in a painting, Merith finds it is stolen and is arrested. During his arrest, a wizard interogates him (with some torture) about the painting and some documents which were within the canvas. Merith is freed after his story checks out. Hiro (PC), and Hailiya (NPC) go to get revenge against the Wizard, only to find him forcing the Princess, Miiryn (NPC) into his embrace. A fight insues and Merith and Aistlyn join the fray. Merith uses the Blade of Amaant-Tur, an artifact. The wizard recognizes the blade, and pulls in a demonic favor. He cuts Merith's left hand off, grabs the hand and leaves via a teleportation. Merith sits around while they restore his hand. Session 3 The characters leave the city, and are set upon on the road by three Khaaras elves, one proves to be willing to talk, and so it is not a fight. The party gets to Saraniath. There they discover an assassin with details about the missing sisters abducters. and chase the information to a mountain top trade outpost. Where they are nearly burnt alive by another assassin (working for the mysterious npc known only as Shadow). With the help of the town guard, they run off the enemies, but now face a road full of enemies warned (the bag guys ran off in the same direction the party wishes to travel). Their options at the end of the session include; A skyship, captained by Turan Thabalsarn, and the high gryphon, Ansara will take them to Chenneroth. It is dangerous because of the Sky Pirates of Thasandor, and because its the dead of winter. The Ondorron pass heads towards Shandakaar, but is dangerous because of the Pawreg Tribesmen that populate its depths. The Undermountain path through the Dwarven Hold of Khaloth-Surok, but it is a dangerous path because it is an unexplored and unsafe dungeon. |
