Some Background: My group decided to B & E a tower fortress in the middle of the woods. They were tracking two shipments of magic weapons. One shipment was meant for a Yuanti fortress(the place they were supposed to go to), the other shipment was being sent to a wizard stronghold(who was working for a guy the group was working for) Well they pretty much assault the tower, and after a much heated battle of spells and polymorphing the group's sorc into a pigeon, the group got the wizard down to 6 hp. This was enough to make the wizard teleport away. At this time the rogue got a hold of the Wizards Familiar(a Shocker lizard) and shoved it in his Hewards Hefty Haversack. The Questions: The familiar has a ring of adaptation on so its not a matter of needing to breath that is the question...though they do not know that yet. The question is can the familiar be scryed upon while in the haversack? Can the wizard teleport to the familiar? Can the familiar claw its way out? Also if say a wizard was in the bag of holding, could he scry out of it? |

I wish I knew how to answer this, but I'm getting rustyon my D&D, having been away from it for some time. I know I'll have to thumb through the books before I start to run the system again.

Nope, unfortunaty the extra demensional space in bags like that are going to be outside the rage of most spells. It could be found using divination that can cross demensional boudaries though so if were talking really high level you may have some options. |
