I can see Fix working on his metal stuff at 1AM due to his chronic insomnia. I can also see him glaring at his neighbors because they have the audacity to tell him to be quiet at that time of night.
When you're making an Adventure, remember to ask, "WWMPD" (What Would My Player's Do?) Then tailor your adventure around that.

One generally takes a 1200 degree slab of steel and places it gently on said anvil before beating the hell out of it with a hammer.

actually, if you've met Fixxxer you'd know that one of his hobbies is torturing people. I've never seen him use the damn thing. I think it's only there to torture his friends with when they help him move. :devil:
