Rúmil will approach and whisper to the group, "Ok, we should proceed just as I suggested. Jack takes the lead looking for more traps. Thrug will follow afterward allowing him quicker access to any enemies we may encounter. Dru will follow Thrug, and I'll bring up the rear. Does this sound like a plan we all agree upon? If so, let's go." |

Thrug nods assent and gets his massive blade ready to chop flesh. He waits for the others to get into possision behind him and advances down the hill after Jack. |

After the rest of the adventurers arrived and formed into position Jack attempted to open the door, finding it locked he fished in his pack for his lock tools. He knelt down and began working on the lock but found it more challenging than he had expected. He worked for a few moments but was unable to get the lock to open. Open Lock Check: 11+7=18 (fails) |

Jack looks at the lock, with utter frustration. He whispers "Hold still I'm having a problem with the door. I can't seem to pick it." "The door being locked, means one of two things. Everyone is inside or everyone is outside." (OOC: were we given a key by anychance? I can't remember) Still whispering "I have a way to open the door, but it will be loud." Jack gives a bit of a whispered laugh |

Rúmil shakes his head, "No, don't be loud. Jack just take your time, it's not as if we need to rush right now." (OOC: Suggest Jack take 20 on his check. If that fails, I've got an idea involving digging out the door, but that'll take a long time. Otherwise we can sit here and set up an ambush for whoever comes out/in.) |

(so heres the plan. I will reset the original trap, and set a new trap with the flour "bomb". then I will attempt to take 20 on unlocking the door. If it works I shall remove the traps, if it doesn't the traps are in place for an ambush.) |

Jack carefully reset the trap on the door and placed the flour bomb at his feet. He then carefully and slowly inspected the lock. After approximately 10 minutes of searching the lock he found the source of his confusion and quickly picked the lock. The lock clicked open. With a satisfied grin, he looked back up to his friends, deactivated the trap and picked up the bomb. |

Jack reached for the door and slowly opened it, the sunlight lit up a small tunnel leading at a slight angle down into the hill in front of them. The path seemed to be roughly cut into the hillside with support beams approximately every ten feet. If there had been torches or lamps lining the hallway they were no longer lit and the way seemed very dark to everyone except for Thrug who immediately noticed two goblins in the path who had spun around in surprise with javelins in hand. In reaction, the goblin in the open path (#2) launched his javelin towards Jack who stood vulnerable in the open door. The Javelin aimed true and caught Jack hard in the shoulder and buried itself deep within. Thrug had been waiting for this for some time. Sliding past Jack he moved to into the tunnel and approached the goblins holding his massive sword in front of him. /ooc: Moving one space Southeast and five spaces east. |

Dru' was worried for Jack when he was hit, but when he didn't fall, she was relieved. ((Waiting for turns to play out.)) |

The remaining goblin dropped his javelin and drew his mace as he snarled at the encroaching half orc. Goblin #2 drew his mace as well and stepped backwards a few feet pointing towards the half orc and waving as if taunting him to come on. He stood strong and raised his mace up high ready to defend himself. Next action Rumil ![]() You may want to make sure you refresh to make sure it's showing the correct image. I'm just using the same image over and over, so make sure your cache isn't holding the old image. There's still quite a few moves before your turn Shapeless. You may want to wait until then to let me know what you're doing as things may change a bit. |

Rúmil mutters, "well that didn't take long." and draws his morningstar. He moves into the cave, directly behind Thrug responding to the goblin in the back's taunts with, "Careful Thrug, it may be a trap." Rúmil will look around, as he can't exactly engage anyone at the moment (other than Thrug, and I'll pass on that thank you), and see if he can spot anything out of the ordinary ahead of Thrug, as well as trying to hear anything beyond the din of combat. |
