I can download videos now without wanting to tear my hair out. I click on web pages and suddenly there they are! The internet is a magical enchanted land again!

Just thought I'd share my joy.

Told you. Cable is even better in my experience.

And Fiber-Optic is even better. However that's definately not in my budget until I make over 100K a year.

When you're making an Adventure, remember to ask, "WWMPD" (What Would My Player's Do?) Then tailor your adventure around that.

I'm not sure why you waited this long to make the swich from dial-up.

Now I think you should play an MMO. I vote either EQ2 (my current distraction) or World of Warcraft.

if her time is as limited as she makes it sound, then that would be a bad idea.

No WoW or EQ for me. I just wouldn't have enough time to play per month to justify the expense and I can't afford to live on something like WoW - this coming quarter I could have a max of 28 students, as opposed to the 18 I could have had this quarter (I ended up with 16).

Yea I understand. I just wish I could con SOMEONE into being an adventuring budy in this game.

That game is so addicting!! I loved EQ...played a Druid, got him up to 52nd level before I just HAD to quit!! When you start dreaming about healing someone and such, it's time to kick the habit. And the monthly expense...but I truly enjoyed the game.
