Yes, she had a guide. A guide that she did not know the name of, but one she trusted. Akane smiled at Arrhandir, and replied, "Yes, I do have a guide." Then her face became troubled, and she continued. But he is not always able to help me, and sometimes cannot. She looked off into the distance, thinking. |

Akane whipped her head around to face Arrhandir as he said this. "Hurt me! He's never hurt me in my life!" |

Akane, Falco, Gray: Ah, good Arrhandir said I'm glad to hear that. But he's not always able to help you, you say. And that made me wonder. Is he guiding you somewhere? |
| said the fool, and he showed his suntanned teeth. | |

Akane had no idea if she was being guided or not, and she suspected the half-orge did not either. He had died and came into her, and she knew he had not thought of that. He might be guiding her, but he had no idea where it would take her. "We dont know." Immediatly after these words, Akane winced, realiziing how much she had revealed. |

Akane, Falco, Gray: We don't know Arrhandir repeated Akane's reply But I'm sure you'll find out. Perhaps Falco can help you with that, as he has learned to trust upon his spirits. Ah, of course! I have this feeling you both suffered a lot of pain. |

Fearfull of revealing too much more of what she was, Akane said nothing to this, and just stared off into space. |

Falco looked at Akane and then to Arrhandir before clearing his throat, “We all must accept our fates, and do what we can with the situations that present themselves. As I mentioned before, the trails that I have overcome have made me the man you see before you. Yes there have been trials with much pain in the past. It is also true though that without my spirit guide I would have been lost, allowing the voices of the forgotten to claim my soul. EsGee acts as my beacon, my light in the darkness. Guiding me to where I need to be, but never forcing my hand. If something were to ever happen to EsGee I would not be lost however. I have been taught the old ways and am confident that with enough prayer a new spirit guide will arrive to continue my journey with me. I will gladly teach you Akane the techniques that have helped guide me to EsGee if you wish. But as I said before I can only show you the path. It is up to you to take the first step.” |

Akane smiled, once more happy that some one was trying to help her, but still nervous about talking was had happened to her. "Falco, ... I thank you, ... and ask for your help." Akane's tounge stumbled over the words, made clumsy by fear, but she finished, and looked expectantly at Falco. |

Akane, Falco, Gray: *Slam* The door of the inn opens. A guard comes in. He lookes around, seeing the people at the regulars table, the people at the bar and finaly, in a corner in the back, the group of travelers. With big steps, the guard approaches. His boots sound heavy on the wooden floor. He stops at the table, and says: You are the group that came from Kuroth? Yes Arrhandir replied. Then will you follow me? It sounded more like an order than like a request, but the guard seemed nervous rather than unfriendly. Without saying anything, Arrhandir got up. You too The guard said to the rest Please |

Gaurds! What had they done to get themselves in this trouble?! Akane's mind raced, trying to remeber if they had done anything wrong, but she could not remeber anything. In fact, her memory was someaht blurred concerning the past few hours. She slowly drew her dagger from its sheath, trying not to be noticed by the gaurd, and looked for an exit from the room. Akane tried to cover her actions by asking the gaurd, " Why?", as she stood up. |

Akane, Falco, Gray: Don't worry Arrhandir said, I've told the guards about the tracks I've found in the mountains. They'll want to question us. |
