Dreams of a Life

It tells the story of Joyce Carol Vincent, whose body was found in January 2006 decomposing in her bedsit in Wood Green, North London; after apparently dying unnoticed in December 2003, surrounded by unopened Christmas presents with her TV still switched on.[1]

The film interviews various friends, acquaintances and former partners to try to tell the story of Joyce, who is played in reconstructions by Ashton.

Damn I was pretty sad after I saw this documentary. She was a very likeable woman and still died alone and nobody noticed it :( in a city of 8 million people it is crazy.

Louis Theroux: The Most Hated Family in America

Louis Theroux struggles to come to terms with the infamous Phelps family from Topeka, Kansas who picket the funerals of dead soldiers killed in Iraq as a protest against an America that tolerates homosexuality.

PFf crazy people who only can hate.

The Staircase

Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, Jean-Xavier de Lestrade, presents a gripping courtroom thriller, offering a rare and revealing inside look at a high-profile murder trial. In 2001, author Michael Peterson was arraigned for the murder of his wife Kathleen, whose body was discovered lying in a pool of blood on the stairway of their home. Granted unusual access to Peterson's lawyers, home and immediate family, de Lestrade's cameras capture the defense team as it considers its strategic options. "The staircase" is an engrossing look at contemporary American justice that features more twists than a legal bestseller.

Interesting to see how such case evolves and how the family thinks about the case. Although you never get a clear idea what really has happened.

I have like 30 documentaries on my Netflix queue but I dunno what year I'm gonna get to them all... I always say I'm gonna watch one and then I end up in the stand-up comedy section

Last documentary I saw was Moment of Death and I wanna watch Life in a Day next

I mostly watch the History ones though - fav was the WWII in HD miniseries from the History Channel- really gripping stuff and awesome color footage that really brought the events to life

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters is a 2007 American documentary film that follows Steve Wiebe as he tries to take the world high score for the arcade game Donkey Kong from whom the film presents as reigning champion, Billy Mitchell.

This a pretty funny documentary  about a player who want to beat the record of donkey kong of the reigning champion a must see

I'm so dependent on Netflix nowadays I dunno how I ever managed without it... when it recommends movies for me it almost feels like it knows me better than I know myself

I had to cancel my Netflix because I used it too often and I need to make it through graduation and interviews haha then ill buy it again.

Usually I only watch documentaries on prostitution and themes related to that.
Whores Glory was awesome but I did not feel any kind of remorse for the Thai (? Correct me if I'm wrong) girls...they basically did it because they wanted freedom
The Bengali girls were depressing. It was weird to see 9 year olds taking about how 10 different guys would have sex with them daily...I can't even imagine something like that. Not to mention the men in that were so disgusting and horny!

Other good ones are:
Saving Face
Dancing boys for Afganistan: if you have Netflix you need to search for this and watch it! It's crazy!!

lol I dont like Michael Moore, he's so one sided that you see the biases in what he wants you to see only. Its never two sided with him. He's borderline an opportunist.

Since I'm sick the past week and bored I watch discovery investigation and one of the interesting show I watch is Disappeared.

So awful when somebody just disappears and nobody knows what happened.
