Chase the dream not the competition

I saw SOuth African film Tsotsi...it won an oscar for best foreign language film...and the film is absolute garbage, i mean its unbelivably DUMB

Oscars are quite a joke at times, Bollywood entry was Paheli i think for this year......even paheli was better

I have just watched Mexican-Spanish "Pan´s labyrinth" (El laberinto del fauno) and I am sitting here a bundle of tears. It is VERY dark, graphic at times to the point I had to close my eyes three or four times, and there is profound sense of tragic sadness sorrounding the whole movie. The film is brilliantly acted and technical aspects too are wonderful - if creepy. The line between real world and the world little Ofelia tries to "return to" never goes the idealistic Narnia way (btw I love Narnia) and there are moments when you just have to accept it is real as well.

I recommend it, most definitely, but it is not a watch for faint-hearted.

I think that it is the best non-Bollywood film I have watched this year. Really good. And so sad :(

You lift my spirit, take me higher, make me fly..
blue is the warmest color- The beginning of the film is slow & bores you out..the story picks up pace half an hour into the film.the love story between the girls was so good..so hot & charming while it lasted.the emotional complexities in the relationship, the confusion was portrayed so well by the actresses who played adele & emma...although i liked the one who played emma better.

I saw the Grandmaster it is the same story but different movie.

I like the cinematography of the movie but the story was a little bit confusing :hm:
