Help? Emachine computer problems; "Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter"?

NEWBIE Posts: 1 Group: Members Member #17,922 Joined: June 17, 2012	I woke up one morning & my computer went from perfectly fine to this: http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z7/Alilmzstery/IMAG0658.jpg This is the information on it: http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z7/Alilmzstery/IMAG0660.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z7/Alilmzstery/IMAG0659.jpg My problem is I don't know what disk I'm suppose to be inserting, or where I can get it. My mom says I need to get a recovery disk. If that's true do you know where I can buy/download one online? Please help, any information is greatly appreciated.

CREW MEMBER Posts: 231 Group: Members Member #10,343 Joined: February 24, 2006	I'll give this a bump but there are guys with more knowledge on here than me in this area. You may have a hard drive that is going bad. First I would check for loose connections make sure everything is plugged in,reseat hard drive connections. Run a hard drive diagnostic utility. There are free programs you can download. Most hard drive manufacturers have free software to check your hard drive. I also might try to clear cmos before re installing windows. If you need to re install windows I don't know where you can get the install cd. Worst case you may need to buy a hard drive and a copy of windows,if the hard drive is bad.
