AVAST YE ... DEAD MEN DON'T BITE!
My laptop pwr connector has been acting up. Read online that many Toshiba's have a problem with the solder on the motherboard. So I settle in this morning with a 21 point dis-assembly guide, get it all apart to find the connector is plugged in, not soldered. Took it apart to find the leads are corroded. Gave them a good clean with fine sandpaper. 21 steps in reverse, charging well and everything else is working! Well at least it I had a chance to give the dust bunnies a good rousting.

OZ ... The Great and Powerful!!
That was fortunate. Better than soldering and in many laptops it kinda breaks off as well.
