But I'm still waiting on Winows 7 Anorexic Edition, the one that will run on my old 233MHz, 32Mb, 2Gb HDD and 4Mb video card....the one I don't have to activate and validate or masterbate....but will run ALL my Windows apps securely and without crashing....and cost no more than 50 bucks..................................dream on..

Why does there have to be more than one version?
Why can't one size fit all?
Either your system can or can not support the operating system!

AZ has a point here.....there was only one Win95, one Win98 (well maybe two if you count Win98SE), one WinME, one Win2K, two WinXP (Home, Pro,,,oops then XP-Starter came along for some other countries)......then like 16 WinVista's. Like MS doesn't have enough activation servers to keep up with.

Oh yeah, are we gonna see Win7 by the end of the SUMMER?

Well sure it is........but if they have cleaned up the code and want to sell it for 50 bucks for the full version, I don't have a problem with that.
But if they want to sell if for for more than that for a full install version they can kiss my Southern White Ass....and I guess I'll have to get onboard the 'Black Pearl' and ride it ...................

TD, I think you missed one, I have WinXP MCE 2005 on my eMachines T6520, so that's 3, and isn't the XP Business and XP Ultimate, and a 64-bit version? hiding Does the X stand for eXcess and explain quite a bit about the economic situation the world finds itself in? beer

You also forgot XP Vienna Edition and that there are 32-bit and 64 bit versions of XP and up.
