Hi! How are you? Well, I have some time with this problem and I really don't know what to do. I erased the windows starter edition in another computer, when re-installed Windows XP I found out that the audio and video didn't work because the drivers. So I searched everywhere and that's how I get in here, but after getting installed those drivers, there was one more thing in the control panel, and it says... PCI Device unknown or non installed. That computer has a conexant D850 56k V.9x DFVc Modem installed. The PC is realtive new, so I can't open it yet to see the modem fisicly, for the warranty you know. Alll that I need is know what can I do to restablish this hardware and get it back to work, I've tried with many drivers, but none of them worked at all. Help me please, you are my only hope... Thanks |

Yeah, that's right, it says there's "something" but it doesn't register it as a modem, cause the drivers are not in the computer. I can't get to internet beacuse of that. The modem is not installed... What can I do? HELP!! |

I don't know, anyway if someone can help me with something else, while we wait for some solution, I really appreciate that. Thanks and good night |

Well, here are the news, I tried everything in the conexant home page, but nothing work at all, I was thinking that the only thing left to do was, get a program that extracts the wholes drivers from a computer with the same model as mine.... My head is clean as the sky, I dunno what to do... Help... I guess |
