AGI & PCI Slot #1 IRQ Sharing; How to stop it - on Emonster 550 mobo.

All my expansion slots have sound cards in them. PCI slot 1 has a SB Audigy 2 i use for soundfonts, PCI slot 2 has a Korg Oasys for audio recording, and the last PCI/ISA slot has an AWE64 Gold i use for its ROM samples. In Win98SE, I get scratchy, choppy playback of soundfonts sometimes. Is this because my AGP card, NVIDIA Vanta, won't stop sharing its IRQ 11 w/ the SB Audigy 2? In WinXP, on my other drive, the problem still happens, but is less severe. In neither OS will Device Manager allow me to change the IRQ for the video card or the Audigy 2.

I went into BIOS Setup, and turned off "PNP Aware OS" & "Allocate IRQ to PCI VGA" but this didn't do anything. I freed IRQ #3 by removing COM1 port, and assigned PCI slot 1 to IRQ 3, slot 2 to IRQ 10, and slot 3 to IRQ 11, via the BIOS. What happened was, instead of just freeing IRQ 11, the video card also moved to IRQ 3, again, sharing itself with the Audigy 2. Is there anything else i can do (besides switching any PCI slots)?

Well, even though nobody has replied yet, does the Emonster 550 mobo support APIC? I know it supports ACPI, but that won't stop IRQ sharing, will it?
