From what I can find here: http://www.emachine-upgraders.info/dir1/su...herboards.shtml , your machine has the Trigem Imperial GV motherboard.
There is a replacement offered here: http://www.pcfactoryoutlet.com/Moreinfo.as...roduct_Id=68978 , but they sure want plenty for it.

I guess mummylong is going to have to open up his case and see what is stamped on his motherboard? There were 4 versions of the Imperial motherboard made, and he'll have to see which one his machine came with.
Richard's reply is for a board out of a 370 eMachine. It was supposed to come with the GL version, but his (the eBay seller) 370 obviously came with the GL-VE.
So, I guess the only way to be perfectly sure of which version you have, is to open up the case and see?

Why not try CPU-Z?. It should be able to identify the mobo.

But then I guess I can assume his system is no longer functioning so that wouldn't help. If it's no longer functioning - heck yeah, crack it open and take a look at it.

OFFICIAL SEARCH ENGINE.. & BIOS BADBOY..!
The "GLVE" was the newest rev. to replace the "GL" that is no longer in production. If your system came with the GL board "E" will send you the GLVE for a replacement.
