Hi Emachine Upgraders! Am thinking about a video upgrade for parents e-machine. Ran Belarc Advisor to get some component info. The mb is a K7MNF-64 PCB 1.x. I can't seem to find out if the agp slot is 8x capable. Does anyone have any ideas if it is? Am looking at these 2 cards nvidia 6200 & 9600xt both should run on the stock 300w psu shouldn't they? Have added 512mb of ram to bring it to 768 total. Something strange about the Belarc info it identified the machine as a Gateway T3395. Thanks in advance for your replies! g3b |

Yes you do have 8x AGP. For the PSU I would look to see what the card manufacture recommends. Emachine/Gateway are one of the same anymore. Check here for more specs on your system. Good Luck. |
