I don't know of anyone who's gotten the onboard AGP video to run along with a PCI card. |

AGP? before i ever got my PCI graphics card, the BIOS was set to PCI for video card. in fact, it's a default setting. |

That's pretty odd, considering that one of the most common issues with PCI video cards & Cognac mobos is the fact that you have to disable the onboard video. My Cognac's video boot default was AGP. I ... and others, had to either use two monitors, or learn to reset the BIOS "blind". But then, you're the expert. |

This is for the HP bios, right. Doesn't surprise me. My Intel board has the same PCI graphics default which doesn't need changing, but at boot the bios detects that there is no PCI graphics card installed and activates onboard graphics anyway. Windows presumably comes to the same conclusion when it first gets installed, but you can see how subsequent graphics changes could cause it to get confused. You could end up with a situation where the bios uses onboard, and windows uses the card, or vice versa. Man, I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. BTW, have you figured out the sort of dual monitor setup in windows outlined here in General Systems Issues/ Dual Monitors? Not a bad article...I've never done this myself, but am interested if you can pull it off. You could always do dual screen on an Apple Macintosh, mixing onboard and video card. http://www.oceansystems.com/support/index.htm |

To move the taskbar, move your mouse cursor to where the time is currently displayed on the taskbar. Once your mouse cursor is over the time, click and hold the mouse button down, and while holding the mouse button down, move your cursor to the middle edge of where you want the taskbar to be. For example, if you wish to return the taskbar back to its original position, move the cursor to the bottom center of the screen. When the taskbar has moved to its new location, release the button.
