OFFICIAL SEARCH ENGINE.. & BIOS BADBOY..!
I have no idea what Cognac it is by the numbers but all should accept the P-III /w 100Mhz FSB as long as it a FC-PGA and not the FC-PGA2. Also I'm pretty sure there wasn't any 100Mhz FSB CPUs that were FC-PGA2 they were all 133 FSB if I recall right.

I have 2 of these boards both in Emachine systems. I have the Etower 566cd with a Cognac Rev F, Celeron 566mhz, 66mhz System Bus, and an Emachines 330 with a Cognac Rev G, Celeron 1ghz, 100mhz System Bus. Going of the revision versions of my boards(F&G) it appears to me that there are quite a few versions of the Cognac board around. Just looking at them though the Rev F & Rev G look almost identical.

UK Models: both Cognac+
It is tricky isn't it, I mean, which are the cognac and cognac+ here:

CAREFUL WITH THE COGNACS!

There are three types of Cognac motherboards:

Early models support PPGA CPUs ONLY which max out at 533 MHz. To find out if you have one of these early motherboards, get the sSpec number off your CPU and go to http://processorfinder.intel.com.
> Put in the model number and if it says PPGA, forget about upgrading. Think about buying a new computer.

The next model Cognac motherboard uses the Intel 810 chipset and support FC-PGA CPUs (Celeron or Pentium III). The 810 is limited to a 100 MHz front side bus. You can upgrade to a Pentium 900 MHz (with 100 MHz bus). This is a Socket 370 FC-PGA model. Upgrading from a Celeron to a Pentium III will change the bus speed to 100 MHz. That means you can also boost the memory speed by installing PC100 memory-- up to 512 MB (two 256 MB sticks).

The latest model Cognac uses the Intel 810e chipset, which supports a 133 MHz front side bus. You can install up to a Pentium III 1.0 GHz CPU with 133 MHz front side bus (socket 370 FC-PGA model).

EDIT: It gets worse, looking at BigSteve's upgrade he has:

MB serial #/ID: 113066 COGNAC 20000412

American Model: Cognac

This must be the Cognac++ or (2+) or (+E). Do you think this was made for the Royalty over there?

Cheers lub.

OK lowster. Here's the official answer.

3 slots=Cognac. 2 slots+AMR=Cognac+  (Ref: The part-time Bios Man)

Only a bird-brain could fail to grasp this.

p.s. Please don't ask me what an AMR is. All we need to know is that there is ONE of them.

Good Luck with the UPGRADE. Look forward to hearing about your new rocket-ship.

Thanks 4 the info guys.
A AMR slot will provide both an Audio and Modem function.
This board had a Celeron 667 and I've used a 700 in it.
