I need to know what is a good video card to use to play The Sims 2! My video is very slow and choppy! Please help.

According to the link here, the W2888 uses the Intel® D845GVSR "Sea Breeze" Main board. This means that you can only use a PCI graphics card (NOT PCI-16x or AGP). It would be better than onboard graphics, but the "normal" PCI slot doesn't have the bandwidth to really play any decent games. :o You may be able to play The Sims, but other games like Unreal, Halo or Doom 3 will be asking too much at the higer resolutions.

Some people have said that the GeForce FX5500 found here at CompUSA is good enough for most modern games.

Unfortunately, the best option for most modern games is to get a new motherboard with a PCI-16x slot and a decent video card. :(

ALso, what you can do is to:
1- Lower your game detail to lower settings
2- Purchase a faster processor such as a P4
