Can anyone recommend a really good hsf for this processor? I know the prescotts run hot and I want to be able to overclock it .... I have a full tower case with 5 case fans now and plan to add more, hoping that will help. :P
Thanks

Did'nt you get a fan & heatsink with the processor? By the way, i'd be careful of adding any more fans. With the five you already have i'd make sure your case is well anchored to the floor  .

lol. The stock Intel fans are pretty good actually, but if you really want an aftermarket one, try one of these

Jet Engine

It does look like a jet engine, but they are one of the best HSFs on the market at the moment

I purchaised the retail version (w/ stock hsf), its on its' way from newegg as we speak. But I want to overclock it and know that will only add to the heat problem. A little background info: I have an Abit IC7-g and I'm waiting for the cpu. Nothing is in the case right now, so if a better than stock hsf is going to be necessary I would rather do it now than later.... :D save myself some work :P

That is just a heatsink, you would need a fan for it, but you could then choose a brilliant fan to go on top!

Oops-right, I forgot to mention I was looking at a thermaltake 120mm blue led to go w/ it... :P I'll see how the stock hsf does for now and go from there.
