Hello--

I'm glad I found this forum!!

I have an eTower 600is. I am not changing any of the hardware, but I would like to update the OS. I can choose between Windows 2000 Pro or XP pro. Can anyone recommend one over the other for this computer? If so, can you outline the process and tell me what drivers, etc. I will need to do the job right?

Thanks in advance.

Henry

Your going to need more RAM to run either 2K or XP effectively....or to even install it.
I like XP but what ever you decide, if the drivers are not native, you can find them HERE

OOPS, I forgot to mention that the RAM was increased, but nothing else.

I'm partial to W2K, but I thought I would ask around before making a decision regarding this machine....

Any input is appreciated.
