Hi

I have a T1742 that has been working fine for a couple of years but now has developed a rather serious flaw. It won't boot completely up before shutting down the CPU fan and the system.

I have disconnectd all the drives, pulled the modem and even pulled the memory. No help.

When I disconnect the floppy, it does not boot completely and will set there all day running.

I think that I am down to the mobo or the CPU. Any input on the liekly candidate?

Thanks.

Happy new year.
