CrystalCPUID now supports these older processors (K6-2+, K6-3+). This should give the benefits of PowerNow-like technology to motherboards that don't support it--including desktop boards.

The instructions are in Japanese and converted to English, so it's a little tricky figuring out the site, but it's there. Just click on "Download Center" and downlad 4.2 or later.

I use this on my upgraded laptop, and it works fine. (It's an Athlon XP based system, so I don't have the specifics on how it works on the older boards). The real advantage is that you can customize your own multipliers and voltage levels.

OZ ... The Great and Powerful!!
The programs K6speed and CTU have been around for about 4 years and enable Powernow as well in the Kplus series. If there are any issues w/ CM and you need them let me know.
