Hi all. I'm gonna be upgrading my processor soon (a 2.8Ghz Celeron) & whilst looking for a good deal i came across this site. Has anyone had any dealings with these guys & is their merchandise any good ? Looks very promising if their processor can do what they claim it can. I would prefer putting in a P4 if i could find one using an FSB of 400Mhz but this looks ideal. Any comments would be helpful. |

Looks overpriced to me. Description is very confusing, almost sounds like they are claiming HTT-like technology on 400 bus. ??? 2.6ghz version for $137 |

Looks as though they manufacture their own version of a Pentium 4. Cyrix use to rip off Intel processors way back before the original Pentiums came out so i'm assuming they do the same. I'm going to email the company & try to get a proper spec sheet before i decide what to do. |

i've seen evergreen tech. before. they used to have an upgrade that would take a 33MHz machine and turn it into a 66/75MHz machine and then an upgrade for a pentium 90 to a 133/150. they worked, but some os's were really buggy with them, and certain bios's don't support them correctly when it comes to proper speed and what not. you *gulp* could try it, but i think in the long run it would be cheaper to get a different mobo and processor if you really wanted to go about it the safe way and the right way, shouldn't shorcut a computer when it comes to something that advanced, but that's just my opinion. |
