:ph43r: can anyone tell me what good flashing your bios actually does? does it enable your board to take more memory? :huh:

Bios upgrades are usually for updating your system for the latest hardware (CPUs, HD, Video Cards, ect....) on the market or to improve performance. I your case a Bios flash will not increase amount of memory.
BTW: A bad flash can make your system into a door stop. ;)
