A friend asked me to look over her father's old E-tower 466id that had not been used in a couple of years. Every time I try to shut it down, it reboots and I get this message:

105: CMOS Settings Wrong
107: Display Type Wrong

Press F1 to Run SETUP
Press F2 to load default values and continue

or this one:

106 checksum error

Press F1 to Run SETUP
Press F2 to load default values and continue

I have tried changing the battery, power supply, power button/cables, jumper settings, CMOS settings, and reformatting. I even tried a PCI video card and removed the modem. Nothing seems to work. Should I try updating the BIOS?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
