I have a 500is with the original AMI bios dated 12/31/99 on a Trigem Florida mobo. The original hard drive (4.01 gb) is getting full and I'd like to install a larger hdd...between 20 and 80 gb. How large a hdd can I install without upgrading bios, installing a controller card, or utilizing the (bios correction) software from the drive manufacturer? Thanks for your help! |
