Installing a Image InvisionFree does not supply storage space for personal images. You will need your own hosting site for your images. There are a number of free image hosting sites available. You will need to make sure that your hosting site will permit remote linking. Also check which formats (.bmp, .gif, .png, .jpg. ect…) they accept. Try to use the most compressed format as possible. This will help with page load time. Two ways to add an Image
Align Images and Text Imagines, like text, can be aligned to the left (default), center, or right. There are no tags for this so you must type in the code.

Not sure I understand exactly what your asking, so let me try to answer this in two ways. If you want to save a "Screen Shot."

Ouch! MS Paint. 3MB for one screenshot in .bmp format. Well, I guess not everyone knows about all the freebies available for image modification. If you really want to compress an image to a managable size, say under 20KB, go to http://download.com, or any other shareware site, and check out the free or trial image optimizing apps available. As far as linking to an image on your HDD. Yes, it is possible, but you have to have your system set up as a web server. Unless you plan on hosting your own site from your desktop, it's not worth the trouble, just use the free image hosts available. I've run my system as a web server before, but it's a pain to config Apache, MySQL, PHP, and a dynamic DNS client. |

For a great free image editor look no further than The GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). Newer version of MS Paint (like in XP) have the ablity to save/compress images as JPEGs, GIFs, and PNGs. |

I that the version of MSPaint that comes with XP is better, but it's still a far cry from what is available elsewhere. If you compare the quality of the image that MSPaint converts to when using jpeg, for instance, you'll see why I don't like it too much. BTW, the 3MB was an exaduration, but not much of one.Prior to buying Macromedia Studio MX, I did all my image editing with freeware and shareware appz. I'll dig around and see what I can find. I'll post the links as soon as I can. Just trying to offer other options to people who want to do more that what MSPaint will offer. |

Photoshop 7 is my favorite graphical editor. Only draw back is it is not user friendly, but it is a powerful editor. |

Paint shop pro is also a pretty good bang for your buck program. Not as powerful as PShop but its got a free demo and its a lot cheaper and more user friendly. |
