In order to complete diablo2 (direct draw), I had to pull my sound card and revert to onboard sound. Was running a nec with up to 10 bots at a time. Now playing the same game as a barbarian with only 1 bot, a merc, I put the sound card back in. When slashing the monsters I get a real nice thump, thump sound from the logitech z-340 speakers w/33 watts. The video card has been set to use the minimum 2mb of system ram which is 100mhz. The vid card, a geforce2 mx 200 with 32mb of sdram is overclocked with the detonator driver interface and it's ram runs at 220. Thief 2, avp gold, were direct draw games I had some problems with. Return to castle wolfenstein, based on the quake 3 engine and in open gl was well rendered on the 600is. No problems with the original unreal gold even though it was a direct draw game. Looking forward to playing deus ex, which is based on the unreal engine.----PC |
