I'm trying to use a secondary pci videocard in windows XP with my emachines T2542. I have the drivers for both the onboard 845, and my s3 virge (325). When I set "pci" for onboard video in the bios, the s3virge works, but the onboard does not... however, when I toggle the setting, I can only use the 845 onboard video. WindowsXP still detects the hardware for both cards, but gives the following error:
(for whichever video is not set as the "initial" in the BIOS) How can I get both cards working? Many thanks -Chris |

Answer from another thread This was someone's solution to a video-card problem. While it was with an ATI Radeon, I think it may be applicable to others. Good read and reference. |
