Seriously, this board is dying. I'm gone for 2 months and I see recent posts from Jan. 20th and some Jan 12th! Only posts I see is mine, (today) and last recently is Feb 2-6th. How can this board be that boring. Well, I guess you guys can make it die. Every post counts of the survival of CZC. And I don't care if your active or not. I thought this CollecToons would bring CZC back up. I thought wrong. |

CZC has been dying for over a year now. It started with orbit closing and got worse when collectoons came around as alot more ditched czc for the collectoons forum. |

Although I don't post here, and you couldn't -really- call me a member (I don't even know what Orbit really is), there definitely needs to be a theme change. It's like trying to make a Xena: The Warrior Princess forum work when the series ended for several years, or making a Sailor Moon or DBZ forum work, when people have lost interest in those animes for a very long time. How do you keep interest when Orbit is already in the grave? A memorial forum? No, most people don't spend much time reminiscing on such things, they just move on to the next best new shiny thing. So the pattern you're seeing now on the forum, isn't going to change until something drastic is done. Just like a business when you're trying to sell something to bring in customers, if you see your product isn't what people want, if you keep trying to sell that same thing, you'll just end up without a business. Although, in my opinion, anime is too overdone. There's 65,354,977,353 anime forums out there, making another one is just going to have CZC blend into one of the many many anime forums that are probably better-handled, better-staffed, with fresher, more unique ideas. A general community forum would be more mutually acceptable, as it doesn't exclude people who don't watch anime (like myself), but adding more emphasis on things that people like, like online gaming (ex. Neopets), anime, role-playing, etc, but putting the focus on just general everyday conversations (General Discussion) that everyone could put their two cents in. Just my thoughts =P |

I still love Sailor Moon, thank you very much. ;) Yeah, the forum has been 99% dead the past month or so, but it's really been all downhill since Orbit bought the farm and there's really not much that can be done about it -- I believe, anyway. Now it's become a nice memorial of the days of Orbit for people that want to look back to them, at the least. Out of all of them, Youko's would be the best suggestion I've heard; tearing down the decayed building that's an ugly stain on the neighborhood now(not that CZC is a stain, of course. It's more like a bad tooth; you love the tooth, it mashes food so you can swallow it and you brush it everyday, but it's gotten old and is only going to begin causing you pain so it has to go [Plus, people won't invite you to parties anymore because all they can see is that bad tooth every time you smile which will cause confidence issues so you'll never get dates, so of course you won't get married meaning kids are out of the question as well. You'll just end up dying alone and miserable... but I digress])and putting up a new one instead of painting the walls a different color or something. The problem is the theme of the forum. It doesn't make sense to become something like a gaming forum, or an anime forum -- as she stated as well -- because there are better ones that are already well-established that would obviously outshine a new one. I'm not sure how a forum based on general discussions would do, but it'd be a better idea than specializing in one thing. Yes, this is all just a really long way to say "I agree", but at least it gave you something to do for two minutes or so... Of course that is considering you even bothered to read it, and in that case: Why? |

Lol you know that Communism is a form of economics... Not government XP Its okay... I understand what ya mean though. Wouldnt making everyone an Admin actually be "True Democracy?" or is it just Anarchy? O_o |
